Jamal Bush better known by his stage name Rock (or Big Rock, or alternatively The Rockness Monsta), is an American rapper, famous as a member of hip hop collective Boot Camp Clik and the duo Heltah Skeltah along with Ruck aka Sean Price. He is known for his deep, grimy voice and having a sophisticated and rugged flow.

Known for being one of the “Great 8” MC’s from the Boot Camp Clik, as well as one half of the rap duo Heltah Skeltah, Rock has released numerous albums. With the Boot Camp Clik he appeared on For the People (1997), The Last Stand (2006) and Casualties of War (2007). As part of the legendary group Heltah Skeltah, he released three albums, Nocturnal (1996), Magnum Force (1998)and their most recent release D.I.R.T. (Da Incredible Rap Team) in 2008.
As a solo artist Rock has released three mixtapes, The Best of Rock (AWOL Soldier) in 2003, The Best of Rock Volume 2 (Vetetranz Day) in 2004 and Shell Shock in 2008. Rock has resurfaced once again as a solo artist with a transformed and renewed energy and has multiple projects in development. Rock has a new mixtape coming soon titled, “Rockin Out West” and has a new solo album in the works. Rock is currently being booked for shows and tours domestic and international, and the fans will be more than satisfied! A Rock show embodies an intensity and energy that is unparalleled!
